GARLANDS AND OTHER GIFTS FOR NATURE LOVERS
GREETINGS CARDS
I have so many wonderful conversations with people about their personal experiences in nature. It seems that most people have a particular bird that is significant to them in some way. It could be birds that they see everyday in their gardens, a bird that brings back a lovely memory of a person or event, or a one off encounter with a rarity.
Each year I select some of my most popular birds and produce a run of greetings cards from my prints. These cards are available by post in an assorted mix of 10. A wider collection of cards is available to buy in smaller numbers at all my shows and events.
Selection may differ depending on availability but if you have a favourite bird, and I’ve stenciled it, let me know and I will do my best to include it.

PAPER GARLANDS
I have always been drawn to colours, textures and patterns. Making paper garlands is a wonderful way to play with all these aspects of design. I have a large collection of interesting papers that I have collected over the years, everything from old maps, a selection of brown wrapping papers from numerous deliveries, and more exotic papers collected from travels around the world. My stenciling process also affords me a whole host of ‘left over’ coloured papers, too lovely to throw in the bin.
So now they become bird garlands and the left over colours live on!
The process of choosing, collating and cutting is a lovely way to explore another avenue of creativity.
Here’s a few examples of the garlands I have made.
Each garland is unique (no two are ever quite the same) and made from hundreds of individually hand cut paper shapes. I only make a few of each idea.
They are approximately 1.2 – 1.5m long and have a handy little loop for hanging them up around the home.
They are for sale at my shows and you can see new designs on Instagram
